Ben Bellamy
6th/7th Grade Humanities

“I am from London, England, have Masters degrees in English and in Education, and have been teaching ELA and reading for over five years. I have a background in theatre and love to help students to discover the joys of the written word, to find their own voices, and to unleash their creativity. For fun, I love to read, run long-distance, go camping in Yosemite, watch soccer, and spend time with my wife and two pet birds.”

Rachel Wiebe
6th/7th Grade STEM

“Hi! My name is Rachel Wiebe and this is my 9th year teaching middle school! I became a teacher because I love working with children and because I believe that in creating lasting connections we can inspire learning in people of all different ages and backgrounds. I was born in England but moved to California when I was 12. I have lived in San Francisco for almost 10 years and I love it! Most of my free time is spent exploring the world with my two young daughters or out running in our beautiful city!”

Shari Taylor
8th Grade STEM/Learning Studio

“I was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in San Francisco, California. Through my experience as a Teacher in Okinawa, Japan, employed by the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS), I have discovered that our youth possesses an endless thirst for knowledge. I am here to challenge their enthusiasm and question their doubts; and with this quest, I will become their Student as they will become my Teacher. My joy is teaching and playing the ebony & ivory keys.”
